The Cleveland Indians defeated the New York Yankees by a score of 6 to 2 at
League Park.

Cleveland came up with 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning with the help of
3 hits.  It was enough scoring to earn the victory.  Cleveland had only 5
hits for the game.  

The winning pitcher was Rip Hagerman(2-1) who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings.
Hagerman was helped out by Lynn Brenton who recorded his 2nd save.  Ray
Keating(1-2) ended up with the loss.  He pitched 8 innings and surrendered 5
hits and 4 walks.

The Cleveland ballclub's record now stands at 12-11.  With this loss, New York
has a 4-6 record of late, 5-15, worst in the league overall.
