Dick Rudolph had a complete game as the Boston Braves defeated the St. Louis
Cardinals by a score of 8 to 3 at Braves Field.

Boston jumped on top to stay in the 5th inning plating one baserunner
utilizing 3 base hits.  Boston banged out 14 hits on the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Rudolph(5-0) who went the distance, allowing 3
runs. Bill Doak(2-3) was the loser.  He was touched for 13 hits and 3 walks
in 7 and 2/3 innings.
