In a good matchup it was the Cincinnati Reds 4, the Brooklyn Superbas 1 at
Washington Park.

Cincinnati set the tone of the game in the first inning scoring 3 runners on 4
hits.  That early run support was all that Orval Overall(3-1) required.  Both
teams ended up with 9 hits on the afternoon.  

Cozy Dolan was credited with his 1st save.  Oscar Jones(3-4) suffered the
loss.  He gave up 9 hits and 5 walks in 9 innings.
