First baseman Hal Chase left the yard and had 2 RBI at Baker Bowl as the
Philadelphia-NL Phillies beat the Cincinnati Reds 7 to 5.

Philadelphia-NL jumped on top to stay in the 5th inning when they came up with
2 runs on 2 hits.  Overall Philadelphia-NL out-hit Cincinnati 15 to 10.

Fred Glade(6-3) got the win allowing 5 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings. Glade got
relief help from Homer Hillebrand who gained credit for his 4th save.  Tom
Walker(1-4) was charged with the loss.  

Wth the win Philadelphia-NL now has a record of 20-27.  With the loss
