Tip O'Neill blasted a homerun and had 3 RBI and Dave Foutz was able to finish
what he started and was credited with a complete game at Sportsman's Park as
the St. Louis Browns, running on all cylinders, ripped the Baltimore Orioles
by a large 14 to 3 margin.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by O'Neill. He blasted a two-run home run in the 3rd inning,
tripled plating a run in the 4th inning and banged out a single in the 5th
inning. St. Louis had a total of 16 hits for the game.

The win was credited to Foutz(7-1) who went the whole way allowing 3 runs.
Oyster Burns(3-4) was the loser. He was knocked around pretty good, giving
up 11 runs in 4 innings.
