Ed Cushman came through with a solid 9 innings and catcher Jocko Milligan
slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI at Recreation Park where the Philadelphia
Athletics beat the Louisville Colonels by the score of 4 to 1.

Cushman(5-2) was solid in the win.  He was stingy on the mound, allowing just
4 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings improving his ERA from 2.96 to 2.67.
Philadelphia totaled 13 hits on the afternoon.  

Norm Baker(4-3) took the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
