Adonis Terry pitched a complete game and second baseman Hub Collins had 5 hits
and 4 RBI as the Brooklyn Grooms really laid it on the Cincinnati Reds 15 to
2.

Collins was a one-man wrecking crew. He doubled in the 1st inning, doubled in
the 3rd inning, bombed a two-run dinger in the 4th inning, tripled resulting
in a run in the 8th inning and tripled knocking in a run in the 9th inning.
Brooklyn provided plenty of action in the 9th inning with 6 runs on 7 hits.
The Brooklyn offense man-handled the Cincinnati pitching staff as they scored
in 7 of the 9 innings.

The victory was credited to Terry(1-2) who went the distance, allowing 2 runs.
Jesse Duryea(2-4) took the loss. He was knocked around, surrendering 11 runs
in 8 innings.
