Jack Taylor was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Sam Gillen had 2 base hits as the Philadelphia Phillies
defeated the Louisville Colonels by a score of 8 to 4 at Eclipse
Park.

Philadelphia scored 3 runs in the decisive top of the 6th inning with the help
of 4 hits.  The highlight belonged to Jack Clements who deflated the mood of
the partisan fans when he ripped a base-knock which was good for two runs.
Philadelphia finished with 10 hits in the victory.
