Jim Hughes went the distance and Tom Daly smacked 2 triples and had 3 RBI at
Washington Park as the Brooklyn Superbas beat the Washington Senators by the
count of 15 to 7.

Daly helped send the fans home happy.  He laced a base-hit knocking in a run
in the 1st inning, tripled plating a run in the 4th inning and tripled which
plated a run in the 7th inning.  Brooklyn kept the scorekeepers busy in the
1st inning when they had 4 runs on 6 hits and the 7th inning with 6 runs on 7
hits.  Brooklyn had 22 hits for the afternoon.  

Hughes(4-2) lasted until the end allowing 7 runs for the win. Kirtley
Baker(0-3) was hit with the loss.  He was not very effective, surrendering 13
runs in 6 innings.
