Left fielder Ginger Beaumont had 4 hits and 3 RBI and Rube Waddell went the
distance as the Boston-AL Americans destroyed the New York-NL Giants by a
score of 15 to 2 at Polo Grounds.

Beaumont had a big day with his bat. He ripped a base-knock bringing in a run
in the 1st inning, doubled scoring a run in the 3rd inning, singled which
brought home a run in the 4th inning and lined a one-base hit in the 9th
inning. Boston-AL bats were very productive in the 3rd inning with 4 runs on
5 hits. Boston-AL simply wore out the New York-NL pitching staff, scoring in
6 different innings.

Waddell(6-1) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. Bill Duggleby(0-4)
took the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 10 runs in 5 innings.
