Jimmy Sheckard left the yard and had 3 RBI and Mal Eason pitched a 3 hitter as
the Brooklyn Superbas outscored the Pittsburgh Pirates 4 to 3.

In the bottom of the 7th inning Brooklyn scored 3 runs when they came up with
3 base hits.  The big moment was provided by Sheckard who electrified
Washington Park when he lost the ball over the fence for three runs.
Brooklyn finished with 7 hits in the victory.  

The victory went to Eason(3-2) who went the distance allowing 3 runs. The loss
was charged to Sam Leever(4-2).  He gave up 4 runs and 7 hits in 8 innings.
