Right fielder Doc Miller had 4 hits and 4 RBI and Doc White tossed a complete
game as the Brooklyn Dodgers man-handled the Washington Nationals - the final
score was 12 to 2.

Miller enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He ripped a one-base hit in the 3rd
inning, doubled in the 4th inning, stroked a base-hit which scored a run in
the 8th inning and clubbed a three-run home run in the 9th inning.  Brooklyn
finished with 18 hits in the victory.  

White(2-6) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Jack Coombs(6-5)
was the loser.  He got hit hard, allowing 18 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings.

The Brooklyn ballclub's record now stands at 13-26.  With the loss, the
Washington ballclub's record is 22-21.
