Chicago found themselves trailing quickly as the New York bats came through in
the first inning as they scored 2 runs on 2 base hits. The big moment was
provided by Sammy Strang who made the New York fans a happy lot when he
delivered a base-hit which was good for two runs. New York had a total of 14
