Doc White pitched a complete game as the Brooklyn Dodgers outscored the
Washington Nationals 4 to 1.

Brooklyn came up with all the runs they needed in the 4th inning when they
came up with 4 runs on 1 hit.  The biggest moment was provided by Red Murray
who came through for the home fans when he doubled bringing home two
baserunners.  Neither team managed to score after the 4th inning.  

The winning pitcher was White(4-1) who allowed 1 run for the game. Jack
Coombs(0-6) was hit with the loss.  He allowed 4 runs and 5 hits in 8
innings.
