Roy McMillan had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Brooklyn Dodgers topped the
slumping Pittsburgh Pirates in 14 innings by a score of 5 to 4 at Forbes
Field.

Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings.  Brooklyn ended up
winning it in the 14th inning.  Al Rosen doubled.  After an out was recorded,
Jackie Jensen came up and he would hit into a fielders choice scoring the
run.  Overall Brooklyn out-hit Pittsburgh 15 to 11.  

Bob Buhl(2-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings. Ruben
Gomez(4-1) was given the loss in relief.  He surrendered 3 hits and no walks
in 2 innings.
