The New York Giants enjoyed a blow-out, pounding the Pittsburgh Alleghenys
pitchers for 15 while Tim Keefe(2-0), with relief help from Buck Ewing,
allowed Pittsburgh 7 runs.

Keefe delivered a fine performance for New York. He went 8 and 2/3 innings
surrendering 8 hits and 3 walks seeing his ERA drop from 5.00 to 4.58.  New
York lit up the scoreboard in the 4th inning when they had 6 runs on 3 hits.
New York had 10 hits for the afternoon.  

Al Krumm(0-1) took the loss.  He struggled with his control issuing 16 walks
in 8 innings.
