Duke Farrell had 3 base hits and 3 RBI as the Pittsburg Pirates outscored the
Chicago Colts in 10 innings 10 to 9.

The score was tied at 9 after nine. Pittsburg was victorious in the 10th
inning.  After an out was recorded, Lou Bierbauer tripled.  Frank Shugart was
next and he singled giving Pittsburg the victory as 3,584 happy fans
celebrated wildly.  Chicago out-hit Pittsburg 16 to 13, but Pittsburg ended
up with more runs.
