Charlie Buffinton had a complete game and Jack Burdock smacked 2 triples and
had 3 RBI at Driving Park Grounds as the Boston Red Stockings embarrassed the
Worcester Ruby Legs by the lopsided score of 18 to 1.
Burdock provided the offensive punch. He tripled in the 3rd inning, tripled
in the 4th inning and delivered a base-hit bringing home two baserunners in
