Hank Gastright went the distance at Eclipse Park as the Columbus Solons beat
the floundering Louisville Colonels 5 to 3.

Columbus tallied 2 runs in the 7th inning when they had 3 base hits.  They
would prove to be the difference in the contest.  Both teams ended up with 11
hits on the afternoon.  

Gastright(1-4) allowed 3 runs on the game. The loss was charged to Red
Ehret(1-3).  The Columbus ballclub's record now stands at 8-17.  Louisville
continued their losing ways and their record is now 5-21, worst in the
league.  They are 0-10 in their last ten games.
