Union Park as the St. Louis Maroons beat the Boston Beaneaters by the count
of 8 to 5.

St. Louis had 4 runs cross the plate in the 7th inning with the help of 3
hits.  They ended up being the winning runs.  Boston made it exciting in the
9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.  

The victory went to Boyle(3-3) who went the distance allowing 5 runs. Charlie
