Tony Mullane went the distance and Kid Baldwin had 3 base hits and 3 RBI at
League Park where the Cincinnati Red Stockings beat the Baltimore Orioles by
the score of 13 to 6.

Cincinnati took the lead for good in the 6th inning scoring 4 runners on 4
hits.  The key offensive moment was provided by Bug Holliday who made the
home-town crowd a happy bunch when he launched a rocket-shot out of the park
for a Grand Slam homerun.  Cincinnati had a total of 15 hits for the game.

The victory was credited to Mullane(4-1) who went the distance, allowing 6
runs. Frank Foreman(3-6) ended up with the loss.  By surrending 13 runs in 8
innings his ERA jumped from 3.13 to 3.71.
