Sadie McMahon had a complete game as the Philadelphia Athletics outscored the
Louisville Colonels in 10 innings 5 to 4.

The score was knotted at 4 after nine innings.  Philadelphia won the game in
the 10th inning.  Denny Lyons drew a walk.  Bill Sharsig then called for a
steal which was successful.  After an out was recorded, Orator Shafer then
smacked a single giving Philadelphia the win much to the delight of the home
town crowd.  This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town fans,
as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.  

McMahon(7-4) was the winner allowing 4 runs for the game. Herb Goodall(3-1)
was given the loss.  He allowed 5 runs and 10 hits in 9 and 1/3 innings.
