TEAM RISP- Senators: 8 for 23 Naps: 3 for 11

Al Orth allowed Tom Loftus to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game and
catcher Boileryard Clarke had 2 base hits and 3 RBI as the Washington
Senators outscored the Cleveland Naps 11 to 4.

The difference in the game was the offensive outburst by Washington in the top
of the 9th inning as they creamed Cleveland blasting them with 7 runs on 5
hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Bill Coughlin who deflated
the mood of the partisan fans when he banged out a single which was good for
two runs. Washington banged out 14 hits on the afternoon.

The victory was credited to Orth(2-4) who went the distance, allowing 4 runs.
Clarence Wright(0-4) took the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 11 hits and 6 walks in 8 innings.
