Bobby Wallace had 3 base hits at Huntington Ave Grnds where the St. Louis-AL
Browns beat the Boston-AL Red Sox by the score of 4 to 1.

St. Louis-AL won the game with a run in the 8th inning.  After an out was
recorded, Josh Clarke reached on an error.  Clarke then stole second base.
One out later, Bill Sweeney then doubled scoring the run.  St. Louis-AL ended
up with 10 hits for the game while Boston-AL had 7.  

Jack Ryan(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1/3 of an inning and
allowing no runs. Ryan got help from Fred Beebe who was credited with his 2nd
save.  George Mullin(1-3) ended up with the loss.  He pitched 8 innings and
surrendered 7 hits and no walks.
