Walter Johnson pitched a 3 hitter at American League Park as the Washington
Nationals beat the St. Louis Browns 4 to 1.

Johnson(6-3) dominated St. Louis hitters.  He didn't allow much, just 3 hits
and 2 walks in 9 innings.  The St. Louis offense proved no trouble in the
9th.  

Bill Grahame(1-3) ended up with the loss.  He surrendered 4 runs and 6 hits in
6 innings.  Washington remained hot, improving their record to 19-9.  They
now have a record of 8-2 in recent days.  St. Louis can't seem to snap out of
their recent 'funk'.  Now they have a miserable 2-8 record over the last
couple weeks.
