Pud Galvin was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game as the Buffalo Bisons pulled out a win over the struggling Worcester
Ruby Legs by a score of 13 to 12 at Riverside Park.

The game was won by Buffalo when they scored a run in the 9th inning. Deacon
White singled. Hardy Richardson stepped up next and he laced a base-knock,
and an error was also committed. Jack Rowe then ripped a single giving
Buffalo the victory and sending the 864 home-town fans home happy. Buffalo
bats were very productive in the 8th inning which saw them score 4 runs on 5
hits. Due to a poorly pitched ballgame, scoring in 5 different innings was
still not enough for Worcester to come away with the victory.

Galvin(4-4) got the victory, allowing 12 runs for the game. Lee Richmond(4-7)
ended up with the loss in relief. He allowed 1 run and 3 hits without
retiring a batter.
