Catcher Jocko Milligan went deep and had 2 RBI and Charlie Hilsey tossed a
complete game at Jefferson St Grounds where the Philadelphia Athletics beat
the reeling Washington Nationals by the score of 11 to 6.

Hilsey(2-0) pitched a solid game.  He went 9 innings and surrended up 9 hits
and 3 walks.  The Philadelphia offense poured it on, scoring in 7 of the 9
innings.  

Ed Trumbull(0-2) was tagged with the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 17
hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.  Philadelphia continued on their recent roll,
