Third baseman Mike Muldoon collected 2 extra-base hits and Matt Kilroy allowed
Billy Barnie to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Baltimore
Orioles defeated the Cincinnati Red Stockings by a score of 4 to 3 at Oriole
Park.

Baltimore had the game winning rally in the bottom of the 8th inning scoring 2
runs on 3 base hits.  Sadie Houck opened up the inning nicely when he
doubled.  After an out was recorded, Joe Sommer stepped up to the plate and
he doubled bringing in a run.  One out later, Muldoon then doubled scoring
the final run of the inning.  Baltimore finished with just 6 hits in the
victory.  

Kilroy(6-5) was the winner allowing 3 runs for the game. Larry McKeon(3-5)
absorbed the loss.  He allowed 6 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.
