TEAM RISP- Beaneaters: 11 for 37 Quakers: 0 for 11
WEB GEMS- Bot 8th: Sam Wise robbed Bill McClellan of a base hit.

Second baseman Jack Burdock connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI and
Charlie Buffinton was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Boston Beaneaters ballclub embarrassed the Philadelphia
Quakers by the count of 18 to 1.

Burdock enjoyed a big day at the plate. He smashed a two-run homer in the 4th
inning, tripled in the 7th inning and laced a one-base hit knocking in a run
in the 9th inning. Boston provided plenty of action in the 4th inning when
they had 6 runs on 5 hits. The Boston offense was as consistent as it was
powerful. They scored in every inning, making a joke of the Philadelphia
pitching.

The win was credited to Buffinton(6-2) who went the whole way allowing 1 run.
John Coleman(3-4) absorbed the loss. Boston knocked him around a bit, as he
gave up 18 runs in 9 innings.
