TEAM RISP- Senators: 13 for 29 Pirates: 11 for 31
WEB GEMS- Top 4th: Monte Cross robbed Charlie Abbey of a base hit.
Bot 7th: Bill Hassamaer robbed Mike Smith of an extra base hit.

Deacon McGuire had 4 hits and 7 RBI and John Malarkey was able to finish what
he started and was credited with a complete game at Exposition Park as the
Washington Senators beat the Pittsburg Pirates in 11 innings 24 to 15.

Both teams were tied at 15 runs apiece after nine innings. Washington won the
hard fought contest in the 11th inning. The key at-bat was by Charlie Abbey
who disappointed the partisan crowd when he laced a base-knock plating two
runs. Washington provided plenty of action in the 2nd inning which saw them
plate 4 runs on 4 hits, the 3rd inning tallying 4 runs and the 11th inning
which saw them score 9 runs on 5 hits. The score went back-and-forth with
the lead changing 5 times.

Malarkey(1-3) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 15 runs. Tom
Colcolough(2-4) was charged with the loss in relief. He got hammered,
allowing 5 hits and 2 walks in 2 innings.
