Chick Stahl had 4 hits and 4 RBI and George Winter allowed Jimmy Collins to
rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Chicago White Sox were badly
beaten by the Boston Americans, 19 to 4.

Stahl made sure the Boston fans enjoyed themselves.  He tripled bringing in a
run in the 2nd inning, lashed a single resulting in a run in the 5th inning,
delivered a one-base hit in the 7th inning and banged out a base-hit knocking
in a run in the 8th inning.  Boston lit up the scoreboard in the 5th inning
which saw them score 4 runs on 4 hits and the 7th inning with 4 runs on 4
hits.  The Boston offense man-handled the Chicago pitching staff as they
scored in 7 of the 9 innings.  

Winter(2-4) finished the game allowing 4 runs in the victory. Wiley Piatt(3-2)
took the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 21 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.
