Billy Taylor had an impressive outing and third baseman Buttercup Dickerson
had 2 base hits as the St. Louis Maroons defeated the Boston Reds by a score
of 8 to 1 at Union Grounds.

Taylor(8-2) was simply too much for the Boston batters. He gave up just 5
hits and 1 walk in 9 innings. Neither team managed to score after the 4th
inning.

James Burke(3-4) took the loss. 'Taylor just dominated us' losing pitcher
Burke said. 'Hopefully we can get to him the next time around'
