Bill Bernhard was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and George Stovall had 4 hits and 6 RBI as the Cleveland Naps
bested the Philadelphia Athletics 10 to 5 at League Park.

Stovall had a big day at the plate.  He slapped a single plating two runs in
the 1st inning, slapped a one-base hit scoring two baserunners in the 3rd
inning, laced a base-knock in the 7th inning and singled bringing home two
baserunners in the 8th inning.  Cleveland totaled 12 hits on the afternoon.

The victory went to Bernhard(2-0) who went the distance allowing 5 runs. Rube
Waddell(3-2) was the loser.  He was knocked around by Cleveland, allowing 12
hits and 8 walks in 8 innings.
