Cliff Curtis was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and John Hummel connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI at
Ebbets Field as the Brooklyn Superbas beat the Pittsburgh Pirates by the
count of 8 to 2.

Curtis(2-1) pitched a fine game.  He surrendered 9 hits and 1 walk in 9
