Tom Smith was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game at Eclipse Park where the Louisville Colonels beat the Baltimore Orioles
9 to 7.

Smith(4-1) had a steady outing.  He was reached for 16 hits and 2 walks in 9
innings.  Although they lost, Baltimore did out-hit Louisville 16 to 13.

George Hemming(0-1) was hit with the loss.  He allowed a few too many
baserunners giving up 13 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.  

'It wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win' Smith said.
