Zarilla enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He doubled bringing in two
baserunners in the 1st inning and smacked a three-run homer in the 7th
inning. Boston finished with 7 hits in the victory.
McDermott(1-2) was credited with the shutout. Curt Simmons(0-2) absorbed the
loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 7 runs in 6 innings.
The Boston ballclub's record now stands at 9-13. Mark McGonigle was unhappy
with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he said.
