Hardie Henderson pitched a complete game at Recreation Park where the
Pittsburgh Alleghenys beat the Indianapolis Hoosiers 8 to 6.

Pittsburgh jumped on top to stay in the 3rd inning when they came up with 2
runs on 1 hit.  Pittsburgh totaled 11 hits on the afternoon.

Henderson(2-3) finished the game allowing 6 runs in the victory. The losing
pitcher was Egyptian Healy(3-3).  He was unable to control the Pittsburgh
offense and allowed 11 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.  

The Pittsburgh ballclub's record now stands at 11-13.  With the loss, the
Indianapolis ballclub's record is 12-14.
