The Brooklyn Superbas bested the Pittsburgh Pirates by a 10 to 6 score at
Washington Park.

Brooklyn won the game with an offensive outburst in the 8th inning showing no
mercy on Pittsburgh as they plated 8 runs on 6 hits.  The critical plate
appearance was by Otto Miller who made the crowd come alive when he tripled
emptying the bases.  Both teams ended up with 11 hits on the afternoon.

Elmer Knetzer(1-2) got the win allowing 1 run in 1 and 1/3 innings. Jack
Ferry(0-3) suffered the loss in relief.  Wth the win Brooklyn now has a
record of 11-23.  Pittsburgh has a record of 18-15 after the loss.
