The Brooklyn Dodgers cruised to a 8 to 3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds in
10 innings at Redland Field.

The score was tied at 3 after nine.  Brooklyn won the hard fought contest in
the 10th inning.  The key offensive moment was provided by Eddie Collins who
helped quiet the crowd when he lifted one out of the park for a two run home
run.  Brooklyn had 13 hits for the afternoon while Cincinnati had 5.  

Tom Seaton(5-2) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. Red Ames(4-1) was
hit with the loss in relief.  He surrendered 4 hits and 2 walks in 1 inning.

Brooklyn now has a record of 17-15.  With the loss, the Cincinnati ballclub's
record is 23-17.
