Frank Allen threw a 3 hitter as the Brooklyn Robins defeated the Cincinnati
Reds 3 to 2 at Redland Field.

The game was won by Brooklyn with a run in the 9th inning.  After an out was
recorded, John Hummel doubled.  Red Smith stepped up next and he lined a
one-base hit scoring the run.  Brooklyn finished with 8 hits in the victory.

The win was credited to Allen(3-0) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
King Lear(2-4) was the losing pitcher in relief.
