Ray Scarborough went 9 solid innings as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the
Pittsburgh Pirates 6 to 0 at Crosley Field.

Cincinnati claimed the early lead in the first inning when they tallied 2 runs
on 2 hits.  That early scoring held up.  Cincinnati totaled 9 hits on the
afternoon.  

For Scarborough(3-4) it was his 2nd shutout this year. Early Wynn(0-5) ended
up with the loss.  'Scarborough just dominated us' losing pitcher Wynn said.
'Hopefully we can get to him the next time around'
