Philadelphia-NL took the lead for keeps in the 7th inning plating an isolated
run.  Philadelphia-NL managed 9 hits in their victory.  

Steve Gromek(1-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 and 1/3 innings and
allowing no runs. Gromek got help from Al Benton who earned his 3rd save.
Eddie Lopat(2-3) was given the loss.  

With the win, Philadelphia-NL continued their winning ways; their streak now
