Center fielder Willie Mays touched them all and had 2 RBI as the Pittsburgh
Pirates defeated the Chicago-NL Cubs 10 to 9 at Wrigley Field.

Eddie Lopat(2-1) pitched in relief and was credited with the victory.  He
allowed 3 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings.  Chicago-NL threatened in the 9th
but their rally came up short.  

Eddie Yuhas(2-2) was the losing pitcher in relief.  He pitched 1 inning
allowing 2 hits and 4 walks. 'Fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals' said
Ron Mead after the game.  'We lost this game today because we didn't follow
the instructions every Little Leaguer hears every day.'
