Toad Ramsey was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Louisville Colonels defeated the Brooklyn Bridegrooms 8
to 5 at Washington Park.

Ramsey(4-6) gave a fine effort for Louisville. He went 9 innings allowing 9
hits and 2 walks. Louisville totaled 15 hits on the afternoon.

Al Mays(2-4) absorbed the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 15 hits and
2 walks in 9 innings. Louisville now has a record of 12-16. Brooklyn will
hope that this loss is only a 'blip' on their recent 8-2 run - and not a
start of a new trend.
