Frank Kitson tossed a complete game and Jake Stenzel had 2 base hits and 4 RBI
at West Side Park as the Baltimore Orioles embarrassed the Chicago Orphans by
the lopsided score of 17 to 3.

Baltimore jumped out to the early lead in the first inning when they scored 4
runs on 2 hits.  That early scoring held up.  Baltimore bats were very
productive in the 1st inning scoring 4 runs and the 4th inning when they had
8 runs on 8 hits.  Baltimore totaled 19 hits on the afternoon.  

The victory went to Kitson(1-1) who went the distance allowing 3 runs. The
loss was charged to Frank Isbell(2-1).  He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 13 hits and 5 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.
