Kaiser Wilhelm went the distance and Fred Tenney had 4 hits at South End
Grounds where the Boston Beaneaters beat the Pittsburgh Pirates by the score

Wilhelm(2-3) gave a fine effort for Boston.  He went 9 innings and surrended
up 7 hits and 5 walks seeing his ERA drop from 3.22 to 2.78.  Boston had 9
hits for the afternoon.
