Eddie Collins hit 3 doubles and had 2 RBI and Cy Morgan pitched a complete
game as the sizzling Philadelphia Athletics topped the Cleveland Naps by a
score of 7 to 2 at League Park.

Cleveland was unable to climb back into it after Philadelphia went ahead for
good in the 3rd inning scoring 2 runners on 2 hits.  Philadelphia and
Cleveland each finished the afternoon with 9 hits.  

Morgan(3-1), allowing 2 runs for the game, picked up the victory. The losing
pitcher was George Kahler(1-3).  He gave up 8 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.
