The Cincinnati Reds put 4 runs on the scoreboard in the 8th inning and bested
the Brooklyn Dodgers by a 9 to 5 score at Redland Field.

Harry Hooper had a good day at the plate.  He slapped a single in the 3rd
inning, tripled bringing home two baserunners in the 4th inning and lofted a
three-run 'big-fly' in the 8th inning.  Cincinnati had 12 hits for the
afternoon.  

Babe Adams(4-5) got the win allowing 5 runs in 8 innings. Jean Dubuc(2-4) took
the loss in relief.  'I had good swings today,' Hooper said, 'Everything felt
right'.
