In a game for the baseball purist, Win Kellum(3-1) and Rube Waddell(5-2)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Philadelphia-NL Phillies finally
emerged victorious over Boston-AL Americans, 2 to 1.

Kellum had a solid outing for Philadelphia-NL.  He went 6 innings and
surrended up 3 hits and 1 walk dropping his ERA from 3.58 to 3.21.  Neither
team managed to score after the 3rd inning.
