Carl Weilman had a complete game as the Detroit Tigers bested the Washington
Nationals 9 to 4 at Navin Field.

Detroit took the lead for good in the bottom of the 4th inning plating one
baserunner on 2 base hits.  Detroit had 14 hits for the afternoon.  

The victory went to Weilman(2-3) who went the distance allowing 4 runs. Ray
Fisher(2-2) was charged with the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 12 hits and
2 walks in 6 innings.
